Turismo X rises from the ashes of the now defunct MSVT Supercup, providing a competitive platform for drivers to battle it out for glory across six rounds of intense racing action. With relatively open technical regulations and generous prizes, Turismo X offers plenty for its competitors both on and off the track.
The inaugural season will see visits to some of the UK’s finest, most picturesque and challenging circuits, including: Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Donnington Park and Anglesey.
Turismo X revitalises the old Supercup class structure, with the introduction of Class X for the highest-powered machinery (240-300 bhp/tonne). Small modifications to pre-existing classes (S, A and B) ensure that whatever car you wish to race, there will be a competition for you.
In addition to the class re-structure, Turismo X welcomes an exciting new format for race weekend. Qualifying begins with a 25 minute session, before the top ten compete in ‘Super Pole’ – a “winner takes all” shootout. Two 20 minute races follow, providing the perfect opportunity for two drivers to battle it out in a race each, or for one driver to have two bites at the Turismo X cherry.
