MSVR is excited for the inaugural ‘Supercar Pageant’ this Saturday (July 9th) at Oulton Park. There’s a packed schedule, with a good number of fine championships and series on display at what we expect to be a well-attended event.
Headline circuit action will be provided by GT Cup Championship, in the fourth round of their 2022 season. GT Cup Championship has provided some thrilling, supercar racing throughout the grid this year and the competitiveness of the championship is demonstrated by the top five in the drivers’ standings being separated by just thirteen points.
There will be a great amount of thrilling, single-make action on track too. Focus Cup will entertain the crowd in their fifth round of a busy 2022 schedule, as the championship continues to well-cater for novices and experienced racers alike. Championship leader Liam McGill has gone from strength to strength this season so far, but he can expect stiff competition from Simon Rudd, amongst others, after his strong performance last time out.
A generous helping of Porsche action will no doubt catch the eye of spectators, as stunning machinery comprises the: Petro-Canada Lubricants Porsche Club Championship, 911 Challenge and Boxter Cup. The Petro-Canada Lubricants Porsche Club Championship is perfect for those seeking true track competition and holds seven double-header meetings at some of the UK’s most prestigious circuits. 911 Challenge & Boxster Cup will combine on one grid for an exciting 25 minute race on Saturday afternoon, while the Porsche Visit Cayman Islands Sprint Challenge GB will close the event with an exhilarating grid of identical Cayman GT4s.
