MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) will revisit Brands Hatch’s Formula 1 World Championship past at the weekend as the race organizing club for the Masters Historic Festival. The classic sounds and colours of Grand Prix racing will return to full GP circuit this 29-30 May.
As ever the Masters Historic Formula 1 series will headline the weekend, which typically features roaring iconic machinery from McLaren, Lotus, Tyrrell, Williams and more. These machines are representative of what many consider to be the sport’s finest era, dressed in period correct liveries and are powered by three-litre engines. These machines will be driven in anger around the iconic Grand Prix circuit; a track which has changed little since hosting motor racing’s top tier of motorsport between 1964 and 1986.
There’ll be plenty of extra motor racing for fans to sink their teeth into with a celebration of the past of sports car racing as the Masters Endurance Legends brings a flavour of long-distance competition to the event. Numerous GT and prototype race cars of the ‘90s and ‘00s will feature adding
Further highlights include races that recreate the World Sportscar Championship events Brands Hatch hosted in the ‘60s and ‘70s, and crowd-pleasing retro touring cars will feature everything from Ford Falcons to Mini Coopers.
