Bolton-Le-Moors Car Club, organisers of the successful Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR, is delighted to announce that the new Wales Rally GB super special stage at Oulton Park in October 2019 will be run with help from the club.
The stage at the picturesque Cheshire Circuit will take place in the evening and will be the curtain raiser to Round 12 of the World Rally Championship.
Seeing the WRC return to the circuit for the first time since 1993, the new special stage at Oulton Park will see the world’s very best drivers compete on the Oulton Park tarmac.
In an evening of WRC action combined with entertainment for all the family, the stage will be run in conjunction with members of Bolton-Le-Moors Car Club.
In a major coup for the club, it comes on the back of having successfully run the Neil Howard Stages in association with Graham Coffey & Co Solicitors at the circuit for the past seven years.
It allows the club to bring its years of experience to the world stage, and help reaffirm Wales Rally GB as the premier event in the rallying calendar.
Darren Spann, Clerk of the Course for the Neil Howard Stages said: “We are understandably delighted to be asked by Wales Rally GB to run this fantastic new stage at Oulton Park. Both myself and the BLMCC team having great knowledge of this fantastic circuit and are looking forward to bringing this to the world stage.”
The Neil Howard Stages in association with Graham Coffey & Co. Solicitors will take place on November 2nd this year, and once again kick-starts the MSN Circuit Rally Championship.
