The new Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship has announced a new partnership deal with Coronado Controls Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of thermostats and heating controls.
Coronado Controls Ltd is the perfect partner for the new MSVR-associated rally championship, as the company’s managing director, Graham S Darcy, is the president of the Bolton-Le-Moors-Club, which has successfully run the Neil Howard Stages rally at Oulton Park for the past three years. Darcy has been an ardent supporter of circuit rallying, and was a class-winning competitor of the original Motoring News Championship, before becoming a sponsor of the end-of-year Neil Howard Stages event at Cheshire’s most picturesque circuit.
Darcy commented: “Coronado Controls is happy to be a part of the new Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship; the Motoring News Championship was once the most prestigious clubman’s motor sport rally championship in the UK. Personally, as a previous class winner, it will bring back good memories. To be a part of this along with BLMCC & MSVR will be a privilege & pleasure. Good luck to all Competitors & Participants - be safe but be fast!”
Darren Spann, Championship Co-ordinator said: “We are delighted to have forged a partnership with Coronado Controls to support the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship in association with MSVR. The support and help Coronado Controls are able to give the championship is great for the competitors, allowing us to put much more back into the championship to enhance the experience for everyone!”
David Willey, MSVR Motorsport Events Manager added: “I’ve been amazed at the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the creation of this new series and the addition of Coronado Controls Ltd as a partner is yet another plus for the series. MSVR is delighted to be involved and all signs are that we’re set for a fantastic debut season together!”
The inaugural MN Circuit Rally Championship will kick off at the Oulton Park event this November before visiting circuits across the country, including all four MSV-owned venues, and concluding in mid-2016. Visit www.oultonpark.co.uk for more information.
