One of Britain's most evocative manufacturers takes centre stage at Snetterton this Saturday (18 July) at the MSVR-organised Aston Martin Raceday.
Race action will be supplied by the Aston Martin Owners Club, showcasing everything that's great about the historic marque, from its classically-modelled earlier cars, to state-of-the-art GT machines in the GT4 Cup. Running with the full support of Aston Martin Racing, the GT4 Cup runs alongside the V8 Vantage Cup, and is open to cars running in similar specification to those raced in the British GT Championship.
At the other end of the timeline will be the AMOC '50s Sports Cars incorporating the Vredestein JEC Jaguar XK Challenge. This celebrates a golden decade of British sports car racing, in which Jaguar and Aston Martin won the Le Mans 24 Hours six times between them.
Other races include the Innes Ireland Cup, named in honour of one of Aston Martin's sports car aces, for pre-'66 GT cars, the Equipe GTS series, and a Sports Car v Saloon Car Challenge.
The paddock will be open, allowing spectators to take a closer look at the cars as they're prepared for battle, whilst the circuit's panoramic viewing banks will offer unparalleled views of the action as it unfolds.
