The blossoming St. Cross Electronics Monoposto Championship has
confirmed its 2014 calendar, with 14 rounds across seven events.
Last season saw Monoposto grow its two grids of three classes even
further, with an increase of entries in each class.
After the event was over-subscribed in 2013, the championship
will once again visit Spa-Francorchamps for a non-championship
round as a combined grid. F3 Cup will also be sharing the grid with
Monoposto when they visit the continent at the end of June. Jedi
racer Dan Clowes took the spoils at Spa last season, beating the
bigger two-litre machines in both race one and two from pole.
The championship tested a new weekend format at Oulton Park in
2013, comprising of two races on one day following the morning's
qualifying. The format returns again this season, at Oulton Park in
July and also at Silverstone a month later.
Rockingham Motor Speedway will host Monoposto again for the
first time since 2008, and the end-of-season Tiedeman Trophy will
run as a championship status in 2014.
