5/12/12 - The MINI Challenge will make its first European visit
for six seasons next year with four races planned at the demanding
Dutch circuit, Zandvoort, after the unveiling of the new 2013
MINI Challenge organisers released their 2013 calendar last week
and taking pride of place is the four-race blast around the twisty,
technical Dutch seaside circuit on September 7/8.
Other highlights will include three races on the full-length
Snetterton 300 Circuit to kick-start the season on April 6/7 and a
second headline spot on MotorSport Vision's popular MINI Festival
event at Brands Hatch on June 22/23.
The 2013 season is set to build on a highly successful season
for the UK's best new MINI championship, which featured busy grids
and a host of close racing.
MINI Challenge head Paul Harvey said: "We wanted to go bigger
and better for next season's calendar to provide even more of a
test for the drivers and we're delighted with the fixtures we've

that the time was right to go back into Europe and Zandvoort is a
perfect venue because it's easy to access and cheap to travel to.
It is also a very demanding circuit and with four races taking
place there it should play a key role in the championship
