17/05/2011 - Two lucky marshals
have been awarded the prize of a lifetime as MotorSport Vision
Racing continue to support and encourage the recruitment and
retention of Marshals at the British Motorsport Marshals' Club
MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer presented David Root, Post
Chief member of the Midlands Region, with his prize - a PalmerSport
Day at Bedford Autodrome. Widely recognised as the best corporate

session in a Formula Jaguar single seater.
After chauffeuring his eldest daughter, who had just started
marshalling, to race events, David was encouraged to join in. Now
the bug has spread to his youngest daughter, and anyone can join in
by simply contacting the club and registering their support.
Another winner, Marshals' Club member Dr Jon Tillot won an all
expenses paid trip for two to the Carribean, courtesty of Rex
Resorts. Jon is a long term member of the BMMC and is no stranger
to globe-trotting, having marshalled around the world.
MSVR's efforts to support marshals have led to an increase in
numbers attending race meetings throughout the country, reversing a
trend that saw numbers fall to an all-time low in 2005.
Stephen Green, National Public Relations Officer of the British
Motorsport Marshals' Club said, "I would like to add my personal
