08/03/2011 - The next stage in the
multi-million pound redevelopment of Snetterton will be completed
this week, with tarmac now being laid on the new paddock
Around 9,000 square metres of tarmac has been laid, which will
significantly increase Snetterton's paddock to a total size of
20,000 square metres. It will offer competitors additional useable
hard standing area in the centre of the racing action with close
access to scrutineering and the Sunoco fuel station.
Teams and drivers taking part in the 300 configuration's inaugural
event, the MSVR Season Starter, on 19/20 March will be the first to
enjoy the new paddock area, which will be available for use from
Friday 18 March.
"After completing construction of the actual circuit in record
time, we're thrilled to have progressed onto the next stage so
quickly," commented circuit manager Jamie Hopper. "The new paddock
area is on the verge of completion and competitors at the MSVR
event later this month can look forward to being the first to
benefit from it."
Tickets for the MSVR 300 Season Starter on 19/20 March are now on
sale from £10 for adults, with free entry for children aged 12 and
under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or click here
