Brands Hatch was once again scheduled to play host to top class international GT racing in 2020 (2-3 May), with the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, however the event was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Exotic supercars from Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, Porsche and Bentley feature, comprising one of the most exciting motorsport grids on the globe.
2014 saw the welcome return of top-level international GT racing to Brands Hatch, with the MSVR-organised round seeing the closest qualifying session (0.022s between first and second), and the closest race finish (0.408s) of the Sprint championship's season. Ex-Grand Prix drivers Tomas Enge, Nelson Piquet Jr, and Andrea Montermini competed in the series in 2014, and 2015 didn't disappoint either.
In recent years a grid of over 30 spectacular cars has tackled the GP circuit, plus races for the GT4 European Series Northern Cup and UK support races. Visitors were also treated to bumper supercar displays around the venue and demo laps by rare and exotic hypercars.
