Sports Prototype Endurance Event Driving (SPEED)
Formerly the VdeV UK series, the Sports Prototype Endurance Event Driving (SPEED) series has evolved for the 2010 season to encourage bigger grids and spectacular racing.
Working with MSVR a 6-event calendar has been organised, with a seventh event at Monza hopefully to be confirmed shortly. The season will include racing at fantastic circuits such as Brands Hatch GP and Silverstone GP and supporting the International events of Superleague Formula and LMS.
The CN fraternity have been joined by the BESCR runners who will be an integral part of the grid at all rounds in 2010. In addition, SPEED organisers will invite other sports racing category cars, such as Sports 2000 and bike-engined sports cars, who's owners want to sample endurance racing.
MSVR have worked closely with series organisers Stuart and Oli McCrudden to make SPEED a great success for 2010, and together with the support of a growing number of competitors and manufacturers we're committed to help build a series that has the potential to be a driving force in endurance racing in the UK and Europe.
