Stars of the future prepare for Oulton Park

FPA championship leader Maxime Jousse looks to extend advantage

Superstars of the future will be battling it out in Cheshire this Saturday (24 July) as the Formula Palmer Audi championship heads to Oulton Park.

MSVR will be organising the Formula Palmer Audi 'Blast in the Park' where two thrilling races will be held around the picturesque circuit, and Frenchman Maxime Jousse will be looking to build upon his impressive start to the season.

The 19 year old leads the championship on 153 points from Nigel Moore in second, and has won five of the seven races held so far.

Sportscar graduate Moore has displayed excellent form and is a regular podium finisher. He may be 39 points behind Jousse, but with 24 points on offer for a race win, two good results for Moore could see him drastically close the gap.

Four Formula Palmer Audi races were held last time out at Snetterton, the first seeing a maiden win for Jordan Williams. hIS weekend turned sour in the next race however after he was involved in a spectacular accident after colliding with Jousse.

Supporting Formula Palmer Audi this weekend are races from AAA Saloons/AAA Saloon Cup, the Golf GTi Championship, Last Chance Saloons and the SPEED series for Le Mans style sports cars.
