MSVR will start the 2010 season with a one-day
sportscar endurance racing thriller this Saturday (13 March) when
the Britcar series takes to the track for the first time this
season.
Three Britcar categories will be competing on the Indy circuit,
including the GT class featuring famous sportscar marques including
Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche. Among the contenders hoping to
make a strong start in 2010 will be Sean and Michael McInerney, who
won the final race of 2009 in their Eclipse Mosler, and the Ginetta
of Craig Wilkins.
Other drivers to watch out for in the GT competition include former
British Touring Car stars Mike and Andrew Jordan and reigning
Britcar champions Witt Gamski and Keith Robinson, who move up to
Class 1 this season in a Ferrari 430.
There will also be a 90 minute race from the Britcar Production
Championship, which includes vehicles such as SEAT Leons, Honda
Civics and Lotus Elises, plus two forty minute outings from the new
Britsports Championship featuring a predominantly Caterham
grid.
