The final racing event of the 2008 Brands Hatch season takes place on Saturday 15 November as the Britcar 'Into the Night' race takes place around the Kent circuit.
The 'Into the Night' race, organised by MSVR, is the only event at Brands Hatch that takes place under the night sky, and the floodlights make it a truly unique spectacle.
The Britcar endurance series features a wide range of production cars competing over a timed distance that can be up to 24 hours. The race at Brands Hatch this Saturday will be held over 90 minutes and a large grid of cars is expected.
In Class 1, the current leaders are Kevin Clarke and Wayne Gibson in their BMW M3. Having won seven races this season, including at Brands Hatch last month, they will be tough to beat this weekend.
Brothers Tom and William Gannon are at the top of Class 2 in a Honda Integra but hold just a six point lead over Tim Saunders in his Honda Civic Type R.
With support races from the Victor Meldrew Trophy, Lotus on Track Elise Trophy and Open Sports & Sports Racing, the final round of the 2008 Brands Hatch season will be spectacularly entertaining.
