For the first time this season VdeV UK will be filmed and broadcast on Motors TV when the endurance series heads to Silverstone on 19 October for Supercar Sunday.

Organised by MSVR, Supercar Sunday includes the final round of the 2008 VdeV UK series where their successful inaugural season will come to a climax with a three hour endurance race.

Motors TV has confirmed a 30-minute broadcast of the VdeV UK action from the Silverstone International circuit. There will be pan-European transmission early in November with further repeats expected to follow.

The Silverstone event will also be included in RaceWorld, the motorsport magazine produced by ProActive TV and broadcast by more than 60 stations across the globe.

Stuart McCrudden of VdeV UK said: “VdeV is making an impact on the track and TV wants sportscar racing so we have put a production package together to broadcast the Silverstone event. I expect the budget to be available to cover all the races in 2009.”
