Tom Bradshaw declared this as the best weekend of his career so far following his three fantastic FPA victories at Snetterton.
Yet again, the Yorkshire driver completed a rather routine lights to flag win to set up a thrilling race for the championship as the season moves into its latter stages: "It feels unbelievable," said Bradshaw. "I don't like talking about the championship but I have to admit that I am right back in the frame."
Championship leader Jason Moore finished in second, bouncing back after what had been a torrid weekend for him up to that point:"It was a little nerve wracking after the first two races," said Moore. "But I still go to Brands with my championship lead intact."
Jolyon Palmer completed the podium positions but yet again he had to deal with a charging Richard Plant. On lap six the pair crossed the start/finish line side by side with Plant just nosing in front on the outside but as they approached Riches, Palmer defended well and fended off the challenge: "I have not had a great day in terms of pace" said Palmer. "But we have at least closed the gap in the championship and that remains my ultimate goal."
Jack Clarke finished in fifth - keeping Palmer and Plant honest throughout the race.
Adam Foster, Alex Brundle and Daniel Brown were sixth, seventh and eighth respectively after a thrilling battle between the trio. Brundle made the early running after getting past Brown on the inside at Riches but sixth eventually fell to Foster after he nipped by Brundle on the outside going down to the Esses on lap 16.
Max Dmytrenko and Emma Selway rounded out the top ten in an enjoyable tussle that also included Russell Bolesworth until a puncture ruined his race.
