The championship-winning HM Plant Honda team have confirmed today (Tuesday) they will be back on the Bennetts British Superbike Championship grid in 2009.

Following rumours they would be leaving the UK for the World Superbike Championship, the team announced that they will remain in BSB next season but are yet to confirm their rider line-up.

The team currently lie third and fourth in the 2008 BSB standings with Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow respectively ahead of this weekend's tenth round at Croft.
