The A1GP World Cup of Motorsport has signed an agreement with Brands Hatch for the circuit to host the Season Four finale on 1/2/3 May 2009.

The agreement means that Brands Hatch will become the first UK venue to host a race featuring the A1GP Powered by Ferrari cars, which will make their racing debut at the start of the 2008/09 season in October.

"We are pleased to announce that A1GP is returning to Brands Hatch for a fourth consecutive season," said Pete da Silva, A1GP Chief Executive Officer. "We have worked hard to put together an interesting calendar of challenging circuits for the new A1GP Powered by Ferrari cars and Brands Hatch will provide an exciting final venue."

Over the past four years, Brands Hatch has built a strong tradition with A1GP having hosted the inaugural race in September 2005. Since then, Brands Hatch has been the setting for both the 2006/07 and 2007/08 series finales.
