Richard Keen secured his second Henderson Formula Palmer Audi victory of the day at Brands Hatch to complete a superb return to racing for the Buckinghamshire driver.
Starting from second on the grid, Keen got a fantastic start to pass Jason Moore before the leaders had even reached Paddock Hill Bend for the first time. It was a case of deja vu behind as FPA's championship challenging trio battled over second position allowing Keen to run away and take victory.
In a titanic battle for second, Tom Bradshaw took the early advantage after making a stellar pass on the outside of Moore at Paddock Hill Bend. Jolyon Palmer also attempted to move past Moore into third but he went too quick into Graham Hill Bend and the pair touched. Moore continued in third whilst Palmer dropped to ninth after suffering damage to his front wing. Palmer recovered well and ended up seventh after making an impressive move on Alex Brundle along Cooper Straight.
Moore set his sights on second after fending off the attentions of Palmer and he clinched the spot after nipping down the inside of Bradshaw at Surtees. Bradshaw settled for third, closely followed by Richard Plant.
Adam Foster and Matt Hamilton finished ahead of Jolyon Palmer in fifth and sixth respectively whilst Jack Clarke made a storming recovery drive from the back of the grid to finish eighth as the chequered flag fell.
FPA now moves to its season finale at Silverstone and championship leader Jason Moore is ready to go: "I can't wait for it," said Moore. "I know what I have to do and hopefully I will get the results to win the championship."
